Free Standing Baths & More Soft Curves
If you have the space a freestanding bath is a classic symbol of luxury. In 2022 we will see this classic piece in more shapes and styles, with more curves and rounded edges. This can be complemented well with curved and soft edges on other bathroom fixtures and create a stylish and comfortable feel which creates the perfect bathroom to relax in.
Industrial Finishes
The big slabs of raw concrete we see in trendy bars, upmarket hotel lobies and chic restaurants could be considered by some as to cold for a bathroom. However, in 2022 we are going to see this style being offset with contrasting elements to warm it up – creating stylish and practical bathrooms. Soft and warm lighting, under tile heating, and modern fittings are just some ways to complement this finish.
Mirrors, Mirrors, Mirrors
The perfect partner to creative lighting, mirrors are a perfect way to create a feeling of more space. While this technique is so prevalent in other contexts it is far too often forgotten in bathrooms. In 2022 we are going to see more long-length and floor to ceiling mirrors.

Replacing the classic wall and door on the adjoining ensuite with a glass panel or wall creates a feeling of an abundance of space while maintaining privacy. This open-plan layout is perfect for keeping spaces flowing and allowing light to move through areas keeping them light and elegant. We think these will be a hit in 2022 and are already seen popping up in converted baches and renovated homes where the bathroom is situated in a place where natural light may not reach otherwise.
