Kitchens, which are often referred to as the heart of the home, have had to change even more than before to become multipurpose rooms. 1. Marble Surfaces
Suitable for both traditional and modern kitchens. Since it is natural, each slab has a different vein. You will be amazed at the different results a custom chosen piece of marble can offer to your kitchen. Marble is expensive but due to its nonporous texture and hardy nature, over the years of service it will provide the cost becomes outweighed.
2. Boiling Water on Demand
Sales on boiling water taps increased hugely in 2021 and the result was an increase of more stylish and elegant solutions on the market. Spurred by people working from home, the boiling water tap is a sure-fire way to be more productive in your kitchen.
3. Integrated Appliances
The desire for a slim and tidy kitchen remains an integral part of the trend towards integrated flash mount devices. Our kitchen has a lot of technology and new gadgets, but you don’t necessarily want to see them.
Hiding these devices is a great way to keep a kitchen practical and stylish. In 2022 we will see an increase in the popularity of hidden kitchen stations and off-bench appliance spaces.
4. Supersize your sink
With an increase in electrical appliances in our kitchens and dishwasher becoming increasingly robust we have seen sinks become little more than large bowls over the past decade. It has come to a point towards late 2021 where people are seeking large sinks for practical purposes such as washing bigger baking and cooking dishes. This in turn is leading to sinks being more of a centerpiece in the kitchen and more unique and attractive materials being used again such a ceramic.
